Inundated

Businesses on hold
helicopters surveying
Bangkokians wade through

Mighty Chao Phraya
swells and inundates Thailand
  watery grave threat

Factories afloat
ancient capital submerged
water rages on

Hear thou Mae Kong Ka!
chants ascend the temple spires
flooding is a scare.

Quick info:
*Thailand faces worst flooding in 50 years.
*Bangkokians - Bangkok residents
*Chao Phraya - translated as River of the Kings, it is Thailand's major river
*Mae Kong Ka - Thai goddess of water. The Bangkok Metropolitan Authority has proposed a ceremony to beg the water gods to stop the flooding

Especially after what we saw happening in Japan, water all around and floods are scary words!! Hope and pray that the water Gods are more kindly disposed towards the people!!
