Our Weekend Memoirs: Valentine Recap
Please scroll down for Sunday Stealing

Hearts day is over. I have blabbed about it in the last five days or so. This is a recap of the day. The Chinese new year celebrations aggravated the valentine traffic. It was pratical that we stayed put in one place, Siam Paragon. These are a trio of shots I intended for this post:

Chinese girls entertaining
The rose Mama Goose got from her gosling

Cj and friend, Gyanna sharing a laughBy the way, does anyone know which musical instrument is that? Zheng?

So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. It is a long meme, so we will do it in parts. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!
Cheers to all of us thieves!

judy, especially if it is topped with ube icecream and has buko underneath, yum!

Thom, I have to go to google first before saying 'zheng?' I skipped 45 thinking I'd go back but published the post before remembering to deal with it. And 58 I remember her as the wife of a guy whose work I was required to think of during lunch time in college. Chinese food easily makes you hungry. I think I'd eat again after eating chinese :)))

Ummm on 58 my dear sweet one. Go and look at how they wrote it. Or look on my blog. They copied the answer as well as the question from where they stole the meme from. That's what I was referring to :) PB&J = Peanut Butter and Jelly. They are the bomb really. But of course I had to me my snarky self with that one. I could eat Chinese all the time. :)

CJ is going to be a fine gentleman, very sweet to give you the long stem. I agree with all the traffic and commotion all over the world during the double celebration of Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.

Love halo halo with ube ice cream, but I have not tried the durian-choco-almond.

This is the reason why Death Valley is called as such:

"A land of extremes, Death Valley is one of the hottest, driest and lowest places on earth. With summer temperatures averaging well over 100 degrees and a long history of human suffering in the vast desert, the valley is aptly named. However, this place of eroded badlands, sand dunes, and golden hills also has a haunting sense of beauty".

Enjoy your weekend!

Yep, Thom, I figured it's the answer from where the meme was stolen. I trimmed it (fixed, you say) and blabbed my own answer which happens to be something I always seem to remember whenever the same question is asked :)

Ate Eb, thanks for the Death Valley info

LOL on your 'shoes' answer. Depends on what? Heck, if I had my druthers, I'd be barefoot 24/7

Collectors books...like first editions?

Anni, first editions would be awesome. I'm inclined to buy those that look like the kind my future grandchildren could appreciate :)

Regency delight and love language

Friday's Fave Five: Regency Period Cake Please scroll down for Mommy Moments Ambience of Banana Leaf Restaurant dinners continue to be the trend for us this week. Rustic charm has always been a big hit to me and Banana Leaf's got it. Buckets of real wheat, garlic and pumpkin hang adorning the wall. Plus the sweet and sour fish and chicken with cashew nuts and mushroom are a real pleasure. J Lo Live This was a gift to me two years ago. Cj is too young to be choosy with scents. He smiles playfully when I spray it on him and I laugh inwardly thinking he is a boy wearing a girl's perfume. This week we both smell the same :) Cyberbanking I finally dragged documents and myself down K Bank to register for online financial transactions. Spending only what I earn suits me best as I avoid debts and the convenience of sorting expenses any time of day in familiar surrounding is always welcome. Whisper your wishes

Cross-cultural misunderstandings are rife among gestures of beckonings and farewells in different parts of our planet. For example, the American gesture for "come here" could mean "good-bye" to Italians. Axtell (1998) observes, "the way people beckon one another around the world can be almost as diverse as the way we greet and bid farewell to one another." Today we look into popular hand gestures to signal farewells and to beckon. 1. In the United States , common gesture for getting someone's attention, as when calling a waiter is to raise a hand about head high with the index finger raised (exactly the girl's hand gesture on Samulli's header ) If an American used that gesture to a waiter in Germany , saying "Water please," the German waiter would bring two glasses of water In Japan it is rude; pointing a finger at anyone is considered impolite 2. Italians and Greeks will often wave goodbye with the arm extended, palm up,...
