Orchid

An aircraft takes off and she's not in it
the clock ticks as she heads back for the exit
Christmas is nigh
and alone she passes by
Just in time for the orchid to sigh.



Suvarnabhumi (Thailand international airport), almost midnight, December 24th 2010. I sent off friends who flew home for Christmas.
