Autumn Leaves

Over here in the tropics there are only two seasons: rainy and dry, so that keeps me appreciating autumn. Who would not like distinct colors! Many beautiful stories, poetry, visual arts, lovely lyrics are inspired by this very charming season.  I grew up listening to Matt Monro (parents are fans), and I remember quite well the horrified look on my mother's face when she found out I listened to heavy metal (in my early youth). "Where has your taste for class and beauty gone, Hazel!" Well, now Ma, stop shaking your head because it's back, and it's your top-quality sweetheart Matt Monro!

The lovely images featured on this clip also remind me of that Sweden autumn picture on our living room wall. If I am forever bewitched then so be it.

Great song and beautiful imagery. Isn't funny how in our youth we clash with our parents when it comes to music only to find that years later, we find an appreciation for it. I think my mom likes The Cure now. lol

Oh, my gosh this is the second blog that did an Autumn theme and the music was so soothing it made me want to nap! I love pick me up music but every now and then it is nice to listen to soothing, relaxing and peaceful music. Thanks!
