Wrestling Ernest Hemingway

~ brought to you by Kikamz ~

We're featuring Sandra Bullock for today's Tuesday Couch Potatoes. Now what's up with me is I read the actress's bio more than watch her films. I've heard of The Proposal and Premonition, but haven't seen any of them yet; haven't even seen Crash (pathetic, I know =)) I have the DVD of The Lakehouse, but have forgotten most of it. Of course I've watched Miss Congeniality, but vaguely remember Hope Floats, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Practical Magic, Speed, and While You Were Sleeping. Among Sandra Bullock's movies, there's one I would like to watch: Wrestling Ernest Hemingway

Sandra Bullock plays Frank's (Richard Harris, Headmaster Dumbledore in Harry Potter I and II) friend with whom Walter (Robert Duvall) misbehaves. I'm curious about two old men bickering over a gorgeous young woman :-) Released 16 years ago, the film has even more appeal to me now. I'm an incurable sucker for things old, that's one of the whys. The other why is the sound of 'Ernest Hemingway.' It's literature! If you like drama-romance or are after the acting of academy award winners, I guess you'll have fun with this movie.

Hi Kikamz, I deliberately listed a few of Sandra's movies to also remind myself that there is more entertainment value to look forward to as soon as the day job allows :)

I had to pay the fine but they took care of everything else which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect them to and I already conditioned my mind to face a few deprivations.
