When you are spent

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Notbob at the blog Notbob's Bits. He states that he stole it at Milly's Big Fat Me blog. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

CHEERS TO ALL US THIEVES!

Who...

Is easy to love? my boys, especially the one in dark glasses

Do you just wanna smack?
Yes - Severus Snape

Do you trust?
I'd rather not. I learned from the nun who trusted and got pregnant. She confessed it was Baba Ghanoush

Do you talk to when you're alone?
authors of the books I'm reading

What...

Dangerous things do you do while driving?
either of these: worrying about work, putting on lipstick, mistaking red for green

Are you allergic to?
beer

Is Satan's last name?
to be confirmed. we haven't been formally introduced

Is the freakiest thing in your house?...
my late father's Poison

When...

Is it time to turn over a new leaf?
when life starts handing you lemons

Will you be all that you can be?
when I'm all that I want to be

Is enough enough?
when you are spent

Do you go to the dark side?
when it's to Amedei's Chauo

Where...

Are your pants?
to my left

Is your last will and testament?
in the air

Is your junk food stash?
bedside drawer

Is Carmen Sandiego?
same place as the Kremlin is in the Bermuda Triangle

Why...

Was the Lone Ranger alone?
I dunno why was he called lone when he had Tonto

Was The Scarlet Letter scarlet?
scarlet symbolizes adultery among other sins

Are musicians sexy and plumbers not?
pulsating veins that glisten on the temples of an aging legend in concert might awaken the horny toad in a nun

Are there no seat belts on school buses?
dunno... we always lived near the school so I always walked

Would you...

Swim the English Channel for a doughnut and coffee? If not that, what?
if I evolved from sinker to floater then it better be only for something that's really worth my while

Forgive someone who deliberately hurt you?
fat chance

Rather believe a lie if it hurt you less than the truth?
I don't believe. I know.

You still be alive if you were sucked out of an airplane window?
If I were a cat maybe

The Hunchback of Abella

A Duet When I was about 8 years old, I sang Something's Happened to Daddy in church. My father was not a church-goer so the guy I sang with was my mother's friend's husband. Papa keeps coming to my mind these days. January is the month he was felled by a massive coronary. Next week on the 14th is the anniversary of his death. The only times he ever set foot in church were during weddings and funerals of family and friends. I remember him being present in church eagerly when I was a flower girl at an aunt's wedding. Finally he entered church one more time. At his own funeral. I made sure church was the very place he went to before the cemetery. I only wished he was the one I sang with. Sense and Sensibility: 200th anniversary

In 1811 Thomas Egerton of Whitehall, London published Sense and Sensibility . Quick math shows it has been two centuries since Jane Austen became a full-fledged author. Quite an anniversary, indeed. A celebration, I declare . Blogs regarding the publication anniversary of this romance novel picture Jane Austen 's engagements whilst making the final touches of her manuscript from Sloane Street. In letters to her sister Cassandra, Jane gave accounts of her shopping for muslin, the party that their brother Henry and SIL Eliza gave; mentioned several acquaintances, and referred to her book as S and S . As a fan I wonder which between sense and sensibility did JA deem more important since she portrayed both attributes equally well. I'm obliged to enthuse over my S & S reading experience. Alas, I only managed fourteen chapters before getting sidetracked by another novel, the very first that JA wrote. I will resume and complete my affair with the celebrant before 2011 end
