1. What is your favorite holiday show/animated show?
Winnie the Pooh and Christmas too

2. What holiday character do you think you're most like?
a mixture of the milder versions of Charlie Brown and Snoopy

3. What holiday character does your spouse think you're most like?
I don't have a spouse, and ex-hubster is buddhist

4. Favorite Christmas/holiday song?
many, but ok the favoritest is Carol of the Bells by Celtic Woman

5. Most hated Christmas/holiday song?
I don't hate any christmas song, but I don't like those turned into rap

6. If you have an all holiday music radio station when do you start listening to it?
as soon it starts playing

7. If you have an all holiday music radio station do you love it or hate it?
love it

8. Have you ever wrapped yourself as a Christmas/holiday present? Come on...you can tell!
:-) but no, I'm allergic to wrapper smell

9. Who is Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer's father?
someone who's got a very shiny nose?

10. Do you drive your neighborhood or one near you at night to look at other people's holiday decorations?
yes, I enjoy admiring holiday creativity

11. When you see a heavily decorated house do you think, 'oh that's lovely'? Or do you think, 'oh criminy, that looks like Christmas threw up all over their lawn'?
almost everything looks lovely to me during christmas

12. Are you counting the days to Christmas/Holidays with excited anticipation or dread?
with excited anticipation

13. When was the last time you had your photo taken with Santa? Did you sit on his lap?
I never had a photo taken with Santa, but in grade school my classmates and I gleefully followed one around that showed up during our christmas party

14. Do you make a Christmas/Holiday list for your spouse or significant other or do you rely on them to pick your gift(s) without a clue from you?
I planned the gifts when I was married

15. When do you put up your tree and/or menorah/and or anything else?
usually first week of December (I'm talking of the tree at home in the Philippines)

16. If tree- Real or fake?
we change it almost every year (home); the one I have in Bangkok was shipped from England

17. When do you take your tree/decorations down?
first week of the New Year

18. Do you shop the day after Christmas sales? What do you shop for?
I'm happy staying at home

19. Is your work/office having a holiday party this year? Will you attend?
last year we had a party. this year I don't remember any ever mentioned in meetings since last week

20. Do you have your New Year's Eve Plans set yet?
it's either of these:
*watch the fireworks around the former World Trade Center, Bangkok and stay at Intercontinental
*greet New Year with a prolonged dinner on a floating restaurant in Huahin (the royal family's summer home)
*explore Angkor Wat or do night life in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh)

A little boy's tiara

It's a week abundant with life's little pleasures, and I'm enjoying such a great Friday mood with the FFF ladies over at Susanne's Living to Tell the Story . If you are dropping by from Mommy Moments, please scroll down a bit; thank you. Now the highlights of my week -- 1. Birthday dinner at Cabbages and Condoms . A friend put up with my fondness for dining out and exploring restaurants. C & C supports social development programs of the PDA, an organization that complements the Thai government's effort to promote family planning. 2. Cafe de Tu . We took the sky train to get to a posh mall for dessert. There's a lovely ambience for a slice of chocolate banana cake and a long glass of iced lemon tea. It was sheer relaxation verbalizing ephemeral wishes. From the high ceiling pretty lamps cast off a warm, soft glow making the place conducive for twilight dreams. 3. Work over lunch at Fuji . Newborn Days and Foggy Mornings

Friday's Fave Five: Foggy Mornings (Please scroll down for Mommy Moments) i. Refund . The business office refunded my visa problem expenses. I had to pay the fine but they took care of everything else which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect them to and I already conditioned my mind to face a few deprivations. A colleague who is privy to the vice president told me, "They refunded you because they need you." I don't know whether I should believe it. Foreign employees are sometimes treated like necessary evil around here. But well, it's the refund that's the fave. ii. Foggy mornings . I counted two early mornings of fog. I could not see buildings 2 minute-walk away. The illusion of cold made me smile. iii. Bible Heroes , Ceejay's new DVD interest. He never wanted to watch it when he was 3.
