Hats and a Hormonal Mama Dolphin


Hats? I just don't use them. I love them :-) For my Cj though and like many other children, hats are much more than just head ornaments. I'm posting a few shots of Cj with his head protection on.

Last year when several relatives from PI flew in to visit us, we took them to Huahin, Thailand's summer capital. The heat there could really burn during April and May but other than that, it's a great place to relax. We rented a neat beach house and toured a few nearby sights. We drove up a hill and had lunch there

Just this summer we (with friend and former college roommate Dr Nillos) visited the sharks at the Underwater World :) then we proceeded to the Sanctuary of Truth, that edifice behind us. To explore it, we had to wear safety hats which were a bit heavy. Cj, uncomfotable with his, was fidgeting

We were supposed to watch a dolphin show after roaming the Sanctuary, but the main star, a pregnant dolphin, refused to come out, according to Management. They apologized. We dropped by the resort restaurant on our way back. Cj ordered food that he couldn't consume so I took care of it for him. This is how he looks while watching me finish what he started. With the heavy safety hat he was forced to wear and the dolphin show that never was, what kid wouldn't look like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders? =)

And this was in Kanchanaburi, at Hindad Hot Spring. I tell yah I love hats! (lol)

Very obvious that you love hats! Khit nasa water ka na, you still wear one! :) Haven't worn a wide-brimmed hat, pero sobrang love ko talaga bumili niyan! :)

Watch out for the urchin

Friends and I went island-hopping last year. My phone was changing indications of where we were several times. Names are difficult to read, much less remember. The main island where we hopped from is called Koh Chang or Elephant island. We went to five islets each taking about 15 minutes to reach. In a stop one of my friends encountered a sea urchin.
